Spiral chute separator or gravity spiral chute is applicable to material separation of size 0.3 - 0.02 mm, such as of Iron ore, Ilmenite, Chromite, Pyrite, Zircon and Rutile, Monazite, Tungsten ore, Tin, Tantalum ore, Niobium mine and other non-ferrous metals, precious metals and non-metallic minerals, which with proportion differences. Spiral chute is gravity concentrators and separate minerals of different specific gravity according to their relative movement in response to gravity, centrifugal force and other forces in the fluid medium. Spiral chute is made up of feeder, feed chute, spiral flute, bracket, intercepting slot, and supporting frame, etc.




The product integrates the benefits of a spiral concentrator, a spiral chute, a table concentrator, and a centrifugal ore separator. It is ideal for mining and mineral processing applications, especially on riversides, strands, beaches, and river ways. The ore beneficiation equipment comes with reasonable structure, simple installation, easy operation, high capacity, light weight, low noise, good rust, and moisture and corrosion resistance. In addition, it is fully applicable to materials of different feeding granularity, density, and grades.

Spiral chute is made up by equipartipioner , feed chute, spiral chute, intercept chute, meet hopper and bracket(include cross bracket or triangle bracket)etc six parts ( see the structure drawings ). the spiral chute that is made up by spiral piece is main part. Spiral piece is made of glass fibre reinforced plastic and connected by bolts. The concentrating surface of spiral chute is wearable and it has light weight, firmness, durable etc vitues. On the top of spiral chute, there are equipartipioners, it can distribute evenly and control easily. The equipartipioner is equipped on the cross bracket (or triangle bracket), the slurry is fed to surface of spiral chute slowly to separate by feed chute. There is intercept chute of valve at the end of spiral chute separator for dividing the ore slurry into three (or four) parts based on grade. Adjusting the position of valve, to change intercepting width. The meet hopper is a homocentric annular tube for discharging the slurry ore. The cross section of spiral chute, the curvilinear slope change is quite fit for separating small granularity ores.
