Web Researcher and Data Entry Specialist

We are a company who buys/sells wholesale phones and are in the process of building a database of phones.

Apply here: httpswww.odesk.com/o/jobs/job01d2eca9ef2f969931/

I have several full time (40+ hours a week) positions available.Your duties will be varied and will entail online phone research, ongoing site maintenance, data entry, and regular ad hoc projects. This is a long term position, we have had some contracts for over 15 months now.

Since we are based in the United States, the work hours will probably be late at night for you; 7:30am - 4:30pm CST. You will have a quota of weekly office hours to work, the other hours may be worked at your own discretion. If you do not think you will be able to work full time, and work everyday Monday-Friday, do not apply. Those unable to meet attendance requirements will quickly lose their job.

All work and communication will be online, so you must have proficient English in reading, writing, and speaking.

The requirements are as follows:
- Great English skills
- The ability to work late nights
- Excellent web research skills
- An excellent understanding of the internet
- An aptitude for using technology
- An interest in learning about cell phones

The following skills are helpful, but not required:
-Experience with database building
-Knowledge about programming
-Experience with excel

The perfect candidate is as follows: you have great English, you have spent a lot of time using computers and the internet (maybe since you were a child), and consider yourself tech savvy. Anything involving the internet and computers is second nature to you. While you may not be an expert in anything in particular, you know that with Google, you can teach yourself anything you need to know and are always willing to learn.

Please begin your response with the word "smartphone" to let me know you read this post. I will ignore all applications that do not have "smartphone" in them.

I will ignore all applications that look like you have copy and pasted something pre-written.

If you would like to stand out, please write an original paragraph describing your skill set and anything relevant to this post.

I look forward to interviewing you.
